About
Jeremy Algate
I am currently only taking new clients virtually.
I am passionate about working with clients to address concerns including trauma, stress, OCD, relationship stress, and anxiety. My role as a therapist is to support you in your journey towards your goals. Healing and growth require connection to others, to our communities, and the world. I value empathy, advocacy, and humility, and I strive to apply these to my practice. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have completed Gottman Level 1 training and am a Bringing Baby Home educator. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (license no. 34009719A) . I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Butler University and a Master of Social Work from Indiana University. When I’m not working, I like to hike, play board games, and bake bread.
I am in network with Anthem BC/BS HMO, PPO, and traditional plans.

Getting Started
Request a free consultation with a therapist. This will enable us to ensure that we are a good fit with consideration for scheduling, payment, style, and desired goals for services. Afterwards, if you decide to schedule an intake session, you will receive paperwork to complete via our secure portal. These documents are required to begin working with your therapist.
✵
Simple Practice
We use SimplePractice for appointment scheduling, telehealth, and secure messaging. We are currently offering sessions via telehealth with limited in person sessions available. When you sign up for a virtual session, you will receive a link to the email you provide. You will need to use a computer or download the free video conferencing application on a smartphone prior to the session start time. We recommend doing this ahead of time so that we can troubleshoot any issues that come up together.
✵
Payment & Options
Our standard rate is $150 for a 50 minute session. If your therapist is in network with your insurance provider, we will bill them. See your therapist’s individual page for more information. We provide Superbills when we are out-of-network upon request. Superbills are a proof of services rendered for which your insurance may partially or fully reimburse you after you have paid.
